Hyundai Group was a multinational chaebol (conglomerate) headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. It was founded byChung Ju-yung in 1947 as a construction firm and Chung was directly in control of the company until his death in 2001.
Following the 1997 East Asian financial crisis and Chung's death, Hyundai underwent a major restructuring and break-up, which reduced the Hyundai Group's business to encompass only container shipping services, the manufacturing of elevators, and tourism. Today, most companies bearing the name Hyundai are not legally connected to Hyundai Group. They include Hyundai Motor Group, Hyundai Department Store Group, Hyundai Heavy Industries Group and Hyundai Development Company. However, most of the former subsidiaries of the Hyundai conglomerate continue to be run by relatives of Chung. If these companies were considered as forming a single broad family business, then it would remain the largest company in South Korea with enormous economic and political power in the country.

The Elantra N is the third Hyundai model created under the TCR regulations. For the first time, in 2021 after the successes of the i30 N and the Veloster N, the Korean brand launched a three-volume car in the Series.
Based on the road-going Elantra the new car maintains the strong links between the Hyundai racing cars fans will see on the track, and the cars available from the showroom. The addition of the new package also further builds the Customer Racing department’s growing reputation for producing fast, reliable cars for the increasingly competitive TCR category.
Design work on the Elantra N TCR started from a blank sheet of paper in the second half of 2019, allowing Hyundai Motorsport’s designers and engineers to capitalize on the expertise gained from three years’ work with the i30 N TCR and Veloster N TCR. The approach allowed them to carry across the many strengths of the other racing Hyundai, while also presenting the opportunity to improve on the existing designs where possible.
In line with the TCR regulations the Elantra N TCR is front-wheel drive and is powered by a two-litre turbocharged engine derived from a brand new base engine taken from Hyundai’s family of road-going models. The car will share the same six-speed, paddle-shift operated gearbox as the other Hyundai TCR designs, while the use of the Elantra model as a base provides an instantly recognizable silhouette on track.
With the Elantra N TCR Hyundai Motorsport’s customers will aim to continue the excellent record of the i30 N TCR and Veloster N TCR, which have taken titles on four continents, spanning both national and international series.

The Veloster Turbo uses a 1.6L T-GDi Gamma engine that has different outputs depending on the market. In North America, the engine outputs 150 kW (204 PS; 201 hp) at 6,000 rpm, and 27 kg⋅m (265 N⋅m; 195 lbf⋅ft) between 1,750 and 4,500 rpm. In other markets, such as Europe, it receives a lower-power engine outputting 186 PS (137 kW; 183 hp) at 5,500 rpm with the same 265 Nm of torque, but altered to come earlier in the rev range at 1500 rpm. A possible reason for the European market receiving the lower-powered engine may be because the Kia Pro Cee'd GT already makes use of the 150 kW engine. The car has three doors in North America and in Europe, making the Veloster Turbo's shooting brake body style both in North America and in Europe a relative novelty.
The Turbo further receives new body panels which add LED lights, very large twin exhausts, side skirts, a much larger front grille, turbo badging and extra equipment as standard, including push button start (satnav and back-up camera available on top trim level). The matte grey paint option is also available on the Turbo.

Genesis Coupe trims are based around two engine choices. Trim levels include: 2.0T Base, 2.0T R-Spec, 2.0T Premium, 2.0T Track (2010 only) (GT in Canada), 3.8 Base (2010), 3.8 R-Spec (2011+), 3.8 Grand Touring, and 3.8 Track (GT in Canada).
Initially, the Genesis Coupe was available with two engines. The standard engine is a 2.0T Theta turbocharged 4-cylinder producing 213 PS (157 kW; 210 hp) and 32.5 kg⋅m (319 N⋅m; 235 lbf⋅ft) torque,[40] with an optional 3.8 L Lambda V6 engine producing 310 PS (228 kW; 306 hp) and 36.8 kg⋅m (361 N⋅m; 266 lbf⋅ft) torque.
The 4-cylinder turbocharged engine shares many components with the Mitsubishi Evo X. Both engines are the result of the Global Engine Manufacturing Alliance, a joint venture among Hyundai, Mitsubishi, and Chrysler, with Hyundai's engine using a different computer from Siemens. Interesting features of the engine include oil injectors under the pistons to keep them cooler.

The Hyundai Tiburon, known as the Hyundai Coupe or Tuscani in some markets, was a compact sports coupe that was produced by the South Korean manufacturer Hyundai from 1996 to 2008. The name 'Tiburon', a slight variation of 'tibur?n', the Spanish word for 'shark', is the name given to the North American, Australian, New Zealand, South African, and Austrian production of the vehicle. It was known as the Hyundai Coupe in some European and Indonesian markets. It had been branded as the Tuscani and Turbulence in the home South Korean market.
The model had been released in two generations (RD and GK) over its lifespan and in that time these generations have been subject to periodic facelifts. These facelifts have attempted to keep the car up to date with various safety improvements and a mixture of changes to exterior and interior styling. The RD Tiburon was in production for 5 years from 1996 to 2001. The GK Tiburon was introduced in 2002 (as a 2003 model) and ended production in 2008.

The fifth-generation Avante debuted at the 2010 Busan International Motor Show in April 2010. It was codenamed "MD" for the sedan, "UD" for sedans manufactured in the US, and "JK" for the coupe. For the U.S. and Canadian market, it featured a new 1.8-L gasoline engine. In other markets, it featured a 1.6-L gasoline direct-injection engine, producing 103 kW (138 hp) and 167 Nm (123 lb-ft) torque, mated to a new 6-speed automatic or manual transmission. For markets such as the Middle East, the 1.6-L engine was a MPI version that delivers 128 hp. The Israeli market received the Elantra, with a 1.6 GDI 132 hp coupled to a 6-speed automatic transmission only. The design continued Hyundai's "fluidic sculpture" styling theme first seen in the 2011 Sonata. The new model went on sale in August 2010 in South Korea, and began selling between end of 2010 and early 2011 as a 2011 model.
